Pedodontics is a Latin word and means “child’s teeth”.
This field aims to protect milk tooth and permanent tooth of 0-13 years old children in a healthy way and to eliminate the problems caused by cavities, physical trauma, congenital and birth defects.
Pedodontics is the dentistry field that monitors and treats oral-dental health and maxillofacial development of children from babyhood and takes preventive precautions.
