How is Let Down rhinoplasty operated?

Let Down technique is not an alternative to close or open rhinoplasty. This method can be used with both methods. Generally, it is combined with closed rhinoplasty.

This surgery can be in the form of nose tip reduction or nose tip lifting. The nasal bridge is nor damaged and natural look is achieved with necessary corrections.
This method is suitable for patients with nose humps and nose curvature. It is possible to correct a slight nasal deviated septum. In this surgery, a nasal deviated septum can be intervened from the right and left-hand side and both this curvature and nasal hump can be corrected.
Like other rhinoplasty methods, Let Down technique cannot be applied to individuals below 18 years old. At the same time, this method is not suitable for diabetes patients.

What is the process after Let Down rhinoplasty?
Recovery after this surgery is shorter. Patients can go back to their normal lives in 3-7 days.
Bruising and oedema chance is lower. Slight swelling a few hours after the surgery will disappear on its own.
Patients experience less painful and more comfortable period after the surgery. Pain in the form of slight discomfort can be controlled with pain killers.
Patients are asked to rest for one week after the surgery. After one week, patients can start with light sports.
